Motorola, a solution to unlock bootloader from the Atrix HD, RAZR M, HD RAZR and RAZR MAXX HD

For lovers of hacks, you will be pleased to learn that an independent developer (Dan Rosenberg) has made possible the installation of an alternative bootloader by releasing the original on most of the Motorola RAZR of past generations.

According to Dan Rosenberg, this solution would be functional on four smartphones of the RAZR range that are the Motorola Atrix HD, RAZR M, HD RAZR and RAZR MAXX HD. Alas, the RAZR range older terminals are not and will not be taken into account in the future, only four above models are compatible.

According to Dan (the developer of the project), it also notifies users should not install the update OTA of Android 4.1.2 of Motorola RAZR HD Since it blocks the ability to unlock the bootloader. As for other terminals, it would seem that manipulation works, and this with no recurring concern.

Explanation: The bootloader is the root of all deep changes to the system such as the installation of Roma Customs, recovery, Kernels and company. Some manufacturers lock it to protect the device and reduce the risk of bad manipulation of the users who modify the system.
