Nokia N9 with MeeGo receives a first firmware update: The version does not add PR1.1 big news, but bears supoprto NFC and Swype keyboard.
As promised by Nokia, Meego will continue to be supported by the parent, and the first few days there is a firmware update for the Nokia N9.
The numbered version PR1.1 does not bring big changes, but greatly improves the user experience of system by adding new options. Among the news stands the availability of the famous Swype keyboard , and support to the NFC .
Other changes are:
NFC Tag reader to interact directly with NFC tags ii
Control music on lockscreen
Take pictures or video with color filters: black & white, sepia, vivid, negative, solarize
Improved and enhanced multitasking processes
Swype keyboard
MFE sync speeds up
Noise cancellation reduces background noise for clearer calls very

New indicators for the standby screen, including charging, calendar, etc. ...
The update is being released, so for those who bought it could expect an update notification from day to day. The new version is numbered Meego 20.2011.40-4 .
